Where should I park? 

Complimentary parking will be available at Devil’s Ridge Golf Club. Please follow event signage upon arrival, and attendants will help direct you to designated parking areas. We recommend carpooling if possible.

What time should I arrive? 

Golfer check-in begins at 8:00 AM. We recommend arriving no later than 8:15 AM to allow time for parking, registration, grabbing breakfast/coffee, warming up, and getting to your starting hole before the 9:00 AM shotgun start.

What should I wear? 

Golf attire is encouraged. Appropriate attire includes: 

• Collared golf shirts or polos  

• Golf skirts, shorts, or slacks  

• Golf shoes or athletic shoes

Please avoid: 

• Denim  

• Gym attire  

• Cutoff shorts  

• Flip flops  

Since the event will be outdoors, sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are also recommended. 

 

Will food and drinks be provided? 

Yes! Light breakfast items and beverages will be available during check-in. There will be opportunity to grab food while on the course as well Food and drinks will also be served following tournament play during the post-event gathering.

What format is the tournament? 

The SOFtoSOM Golf Classic will be played in a fun scramble format designed for golfers of all skill levels. 

 

Can beginners participate? ​

Absolutely! Golfers of all experience levels are welcome. The event is focused on networking, community, and enjoying the day together. 

​

Will there be mulligans to purchase? 

Yes, mulligans will be available for purchase at $50 each (no limit on purchase).  
 

Will there be contests or prizes? 

​Yes! Exact contests have yet to be released but players can expect on-course contests such as: 

• Longest Drive  

• Closest to the Pin  

• Team Awards  

• Raffle or giveaway prizes

What happens if it rains? 

The tournament will take place rain or shine unless severe weather conditions require cancellation or delay. Event updates will be communicated to registered participants if necessary.
